Klasifikasi ayat-ayat Al Qur’an tentang: Jahiliyyah. Pengelompokkan ayat-ayat Al Qur’an yang berbicara tentang Jahiliyyah. Terdapat 7 ayat dalam 5 surah. Antara lain: Surah Ali Imran ayat 154, Al Maidah ayat 50, Al An’am ayat 28, 136, dan 140, Al Ahzab ayat 33, Al Fath ayat 26. Ciri khas dari madrasah tafsir dengan atsar adalah menafsirkan ayat Al Qur’an dengan satu atau lebih ayat Al Qur’an lainnya. Bila tidak memungkinkan maka ditafsirkan dengan hadits Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam yang shahih.
